Life saving ventilators and generously donated medical equipment bringing the capacity to 5 nationally for Timor-Leste. Timor-Leste put out a call for desperately needed ventilators and Maggie Patterson, founder of Goulburn-Quelicai Friendship reached out to MedEarth and we were able to offer 4 ventilators which had been recovered from Sydney Children’s Hospital last year.We approached our always generous and helpful partner MAFO (Barry Barford & John MacPherson) who organised the transport logistics and paid for the air freight from Darwin to Dili.Malek Timor paid for the land freight from Sydney to Darwin and will train medical staff to use the equipment.
The extremely generous Acme Case boxed the ventilators securely for travel, free of charge!Thats what charity is, we couldn’t be prouder to work with this group of caring organisations all making a difference to the most disadvantaged in our world.Help us, keep helping them by donating or signing up to Trailsforchange.com.au
